My wife and daughter believed I put shocks on their car because of the varying texture consistency of the ride! Highly recommended to any who rides on highways for extended periods. Fuel economy was enhanced by two miles per gallon. Go for the purchase and save valuable time by going to purchase this product.

An excellent tire for all of my driving experiences. I have found the Michelin Super Sport tires to be the best tires for my Saab 9-3 Viggen.since purchasing the vehicle in 1999. The present mileage of the Viggen is 152k since new. I have previously had Dunlop, Bridgestone & Continental Tires on the Viggen since 1999 and the Micheline tires have out performed all of the previous tires by a substantial amount.

I bought these off a recommendation from fellow BMWCCA members as well as the other Tire Rack reviews. Let me start off by saying that these made it a completely different car! I'd had the Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions on my stock 19" wheels, and combining those with my Hawk Blue brake pads at the track, I was constantly outbraking my tires. Now that I've changed to square sizes, as well as switched to the Michelin, I'm getting faster lap times, and finding a lot more grip into the corners. I've got one track weekend and about 2500 miles on these so far, and I'm super impressed!

June 22, 2014

I purchased this tire after I ruined a set of Dunlops by mistake. I used to be a dedicated Bridgestone before buying the Dunlop just to save a few dollars. Bad mistake. Anyways onto the review of this tire. Simply put, best Bridgestone tire I have ever owned. This tire is listed as a summer tire but I have used them in snow and had no trouble at all. It performed just as good as my all season tires I have owned. The dry and wet grip is outstanding. I have yet to make these tires squeal going around a high speed corner. As for the wet grip it is just like the dry grip, only way you can tell you are driving on wet asphalt is if its still raining. As with all tires there is going to be tire noise but for me the level of noise is almost non existent. I can't say too much about ride comfort with these being low profile tires but I can say they are better than my previous tires were. I can say for sure that as long as I have this car and Bridgestone makes this tire it will be my tire I buy when I need tires. I would recommend this tire for anyone with a spirited driving attitude and even if you live in the snow belt like I do, it's simple, if there is snow on the road slow down and these tires will do just fine for you. After I get more miles on them I will do a follow up review but as of right now I don't see anything changing about how I feel about these tires. Like I said earlier best tires I have ever owned, period.

The Primacy is my first Michelin tire ever owned (I am 65)and the best tire I have ever owned. My OEM Bridgestone Turanza EL400's wore out in 8,500 miles. My Primacys now have 61,000 miles on them and are at 4/32 tread depth ..... treadwear indicators still not showing but I will be replacing them soon with another set of Primacys. If I drove them to the treadwear indicators, I'd probably get 70,000 miles out of them. Quiet tire with great traction and superior handling.

I autocross (but not in this car) so I am on the extreme end of spirited driving.

The Ecopias have great performance on dry and wet pavement and feel more like a performance summer tire. The sidewalls are extremely stiff so steering responsiveness and cornering stability is guaranteed. The con to the stiff sidewalls is that the tires are pretty noisy and can be bumpy if you drive a lot on poor roads. It iced over for a day last year and the tires did a little less than OK. The Ecopias had about 40% tread left when they were used in the icy conditions.

Traction in wet and dry conditions have stayed fairly constant throughout the tires life. I have about 1/16" to the wear bars now and the tires are just now starting to hydroplane in moderately wet conditions. These are the most consistent tires I have ever owned.

I was hoping to get 40,000 miles out of the tires, but I will be lucky to get 35,000 miles. A normal driver will be able to get much more mileage, but I think it would be tough to get the rated mileage out of them.

The tires feel the best with 35-37 psi cold and did have a 1.5 mpg average increase over my last set of tires (Dunlop Direzza Star Specs). These tires have pleasantly surprised me.

Killer for autocross, immediate improvement in feel, grip and lap times. Also a better street tire than the OEM Bridgestone it replaced on daily-driven 2010 Miata. Mileage too low to yet comment on tread life, but appears to be wearing normally.

OEM on my Denali XL, put 110K on them and replaced them with the same thing. That is not a typo--110,000 miles on this set of tires. They did need replacing, but they weren't bald--had 3/32 of tread left at worst point. Never expected to get that kind of mileage out of a tire. Key is to rotate every time you change your oil. These are very fairly priced for what you get with this tire.

I am now on my 3rd set of these tires (AS/2 prior). These are an excellent balance between high performance and all-season. They last 3 times longer than the stock Bridgestone Potenza S-02 tires, with only s marginal difference in high performance dry driving.

Highly recommended for any S2K driver looking for great performance and longer life.

July 07, 2014

Just purchased these Potenza RE760 Sport tires and had was excited after reading reviews on here about the performance and the ride quality. Being a tire aficionado I was chomping at the bit to get a good run in with these tires. Now that I got to drive these I must say they do not disappoint at all. First run was down the highway with road noise and ride quality significantly better than the BF Goodrich G-force's. It just so happened to be absolutely pouring later on and the road was holding water. Got a top speed of 95 mph and never felt so confident in my 2001 BMW 525i. I had to get a good run in on the most twisty road I know with the slickness from the rain and found traction so good it felt like the car was on rails. With no mileage warranty and some spirited driving it'll be interesting to see how they hold up over miles but I must say that this tire can make your car feel like a new one with a big jump in tire manufacturer, Bridestone versus Goodrich.

July 03, 2014

I am now on my second set of these tires on my 2005 WRX wagon. Unfortunately I hit a big pothole with my first set and one of them was damaged so I had to replace them prematurely. They were at 7/16ths tread depth and I was on my third summer season with that first set. I just had a new set installed today. I didn't think twice about buying these tires again.

These are my summer tires in Colorado, and I commute over 50 miles per day. I absolutely love these tires. To sum them up, they are comfortable and quiet on my daily commute, but when I go for spirited drives they provide all the performance I need. Sure they're not track tires, but they are grippy and responsive, and they communicate their limit well. For me they are the perfect summer tire for a commuter who likes to have fun driving without worrying about their tires. And I've never had any issues in the rain either. I highly recommend them!

I drove three Winter seasons on my Blizzak DM-V1s. I kept them at the factory recommended 33 PSI cold inflation pressure. I'm not much of a speeder, but I tend to take what my nephews call "high-G" turns. I tow a boat and trailer that weigh slightly less than 3,000 pounds all Winter; if it's above freezing and I can get on the water somewhere, I go. I've used Blizzaks on several different vehicles and am always impressed by how well they work in snow and on ice. As expected, they feel softer than Summer tires and even slightly "greasy" on warm roads. The shoulder blocks wore fairly quickly on the tires. I began to see the hard base layer underneath the softer tread layer at the beginning of the third season. However, they performed fine, even when backing the boat trailer down a roughly paved boat launch ramp covered by six inches of damp snow and ice. My only complaint is that they make quite a bit of tread noise. But, hey, the aggressive tread is what makes them work so well in deep snow. I'll probably buy another set, since they're the only tires available for my OEM wheels, but I'm not disappointed by that.

A lot of compliments came from my relatives when they drove my car. They said this one is way more comfortable, whether as passenger or when they were the driver that they feel ease of driving. No more humming noise, unlike the former set of tire (Bridgestone B-250 185/65/R15).

Once upon a time, I was in a hurry, and was in a heavy rain, there was an inch depth of rain water pool on the highway road surface, I was running at 90-95mph, no hydroplaning felt, just like simply cutting right through it. The quality is way above its price.

Buy this tire. Nuff said. I had the OEM Pirelli P zeron Nero's, then the Bridgestone RE970's, and then these. 110K on my car now. These are my favorites for sure; don't understand why they are less than the 970's, because I think they're better, but I love it. Just placed an order for another set now that mine are down to 3/32nds. Some of the grippiest in wet/dry I've had, as well as the absolute quietest tires I've ever had.

Is the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 Building a Lasting Legacy?

Wednesday, June 18, 2014 by Tire Rack Team

This past weekend the sports world saw two champions add to their legacy. The new U.S. Open champion added another major title to his resume, and the San Antonio Spurs won their fifth N.B.A. title since 1999. There’s something to be said about consistently being on top – a place that’s familiar to the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2.

Since its premiere in our survey results back in February 2013, the tire has only known one spot: on top. It has been the top-ranked tire in the Ultra High Performance Summer category because it receives high marks in several areas: hydroplaning resistance, cornering stability and dry traction.

Honed by decades of BFGoodrich g-Force racing where success on the street begins with winning on the track, the tire is used by the Ford Racing High Performance Driving School at Miller Motorsports and Skip Barber Racing for their schools and race series. With racing technology successes incorporated into its design, the g-Force Sport COMP-2 delivers sharp steering response along with wet and dry grip without sacrificing treadwear.

“Accelerate faster. Corner harder. Brake shorter.” This bold statement from BFGoodrich was what we were to expect from the tire when we received it for testing back in July 2012. It definitely impressed! During our time with the tire, it delivered impressive traction, especially in the wet. We determined that it is a very capable Ultra High Performance Summer tire that was ranked first, as it beat out the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport, Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 and Yokohama S. drive.

What will the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2’s legacy be when all is said and done? With 17 straight months in first place, it appears it will be go down as one of the best Ultra High Performance Summer tires.

When you buy a set of four BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 tires before July 12, you can receive a $70 MasterCard Reward Card.
