Win with the right tire on the track or on the street.

Whether you are searching for the best performance car tire for the street or the fastest Hoosier Tires for your track car, my experience driving on the street and on the track will help you make the best decision.

One of the most important questions you have to ask yourself when buying performance tires is, "Exactly what will I be using them for and what track or street conditions will I encounter?"

If this is your daily driver you take to the track once a year you probably don't need a dedicated set of track tires, probably a Max Performance Summer tire would work the best. But if you have a dedicated set of tires and wheels and you are a weekend warrior then dedicated DOT-legal track tires will probably work the best for you.

I have owned many performance street cars and currenty drive a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and have several track driving school graduations under my belt. So if you have a track or street performance question, please don't hesitate to call me at 800-461-5527, ext. 287 or email me at brandon@tirerack.com.
