You can teach an old dog new tricks...polishing tricks that is! (Part 3)

As the title says, this is part three in the series that describes my polishing learning curve. (Part 1 and Part 2 are here.)

Griot's Garage Machine Polish SetI recently purchased a Griot's Garage 6" Random Orbital Polisher and some 6" Wax Applicator Pads. I found this polisher to be an amazing addition to my cleaning arsenal, but I had run out of my polishing products. So what did I do? I bought the Griot's Garage Machine Polish Set. I must say, just like the polisher itself, I was quite impressed with these compounds. They seemed to make the orbital polisher work even better then it did with my old run-of-the-mill polishes.

In the interest of getting the test done, and the fact I am impatient, I now have the cleanest lawn mower in town. My old waxes I had left did a fine job on the old girl. I have a problem I know, but that is another story.

Now, on to the Griot's Best of Show Wax. I followed the same routine I have for years with my car. I figured this would give me the best and most consistent results. Wash, polish, wax. I noticed the results right off the bat with the Best of Show Wax. It went on very smoothly and evenly. I could tell even before removing the product that it was a nice compound. Removal of the product was very easy; it did not gum up and clump on my Microfiber Wax Removal Cloths like other waxes I have used in the past. And when the wax was off, oh baby, what a deep luster and nice shine I had!

All Griot's Garage products are 3-for-3 with me. Will the streak continue? We will just have to see what happens when I try some of the many other products they offer. I still do not know what I am going to try next, but stay tuned, I will let you know shortly.
