Working at Tire Rack you have to be a bit of a car fanatic. I fall in that category very easily and love the way my car looks when it is clean. It even seems to run better when it's clean!
My Saturday routine for years has been wash and wax the car and sit back and enjoy. Until now I have always been a hand wax guy. But on a whim I decided to buy a Griot's 6-inch orbital polisher and some pads. I must say, I was a fool for thinking that hand polishing and waxing could hold a candle to what a good machine can do. After four hours of work I absolutely love the results I achieved. I do not think my paint has been as smooth and glossy since I drove off the dealer's lot.
I can only hope that when I run out of my run-of-the-mill cleaning supplies and re-stock with Griot's products, it will take my car to an even higher level. Based on the great results the polisher provided I am sure I have nothing to worry about.
