PIAA Xtreme White Plus Headlight Bulbs and Super Silicone Wiper Blades Improve Visiblity

Tuesday, November 10, 2009 by Chad Hocker
PIAAI have been using the PIAA Xtreme White Plus Headlight Bulbs and also Super Silicone Wiper Blades on my vehicle for some time now.  I found it difficult to see PIAA Extreme White Plus Light Bulbsat night, especially in rainy conditions.  The PIAA Xtreme White Plus headlight bulbs offered me clearer visibility over my OE headlights and the PIAA Super Silicone Aftermarket Wiper Blades kept my windshield much cleaner than my OE wiper blades.

I have most of the family using the the PIAA wiper blades.  Today as I was installing the latest set of PIAA Super Silicone Replacement Blades on my grandparents's car we were discussing how visibility has improved for them using these two PIAA products.  The PIAA headlight bulbs will not be any brighter or show light further down the road.  They will however allow you PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Bladeto recognize road hazards easier as they project a clearer light down the road.  The PIAA lighting and replacement wiper blades are available for most vehicles.

Aquapel, Does it really work?

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 by Steve Huffman
I recently applied a fresh coat of Aquapel to the windshield of the family SUV in preparation for our summer vacation. I also decided it was time to replace the wiper blades. Boy was that a good idea.

As the name entail, Aquapel repels the water right off the windshield and at highway speeds the wipers were hardly needed. We encountered rain both ways.

Take a look at the difference.

The Aquapel combined with a new pair of Valeo aftermarket wipers blades made the drive much more safe, quiet and confident, allowing me to concentrate on the task at hand. Even my mother-in-law riding shot gun was impressed.

PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blades, A Personal Experience

Wednesday, July 15, 2009 by Chad Hocker
After using the PIAA Super Silicone Wiper Blade for a few months.  I am impressed with the performance they offer.  Compared to the original equipment wipers that came on my General Motors vehicle the PIAA aftermarket wipers are a nice improvement.  I have had them for 3 months now so it may not be a fair comparison to the original equipment blades, which I had used for a year.  The first thing I noticed about these blades was how much better I could see while using the wipers in rainy conditions.  Another thing I like about the PIAA is the way the water beads as a result of the silicone coating on the windshield allowing the water to be easily removed by the wiper.  I have been very happy with the PIAA Super Silicone Wipers.  Take a look at how they compare to the traditional Wiper Blades like I used to have on my car.
PIAA Super Silicone Wiper
Prior to wiper use, prepare windshield according to the instructions included in the Windshield Preparation Kit.   Run blades "dry" for 5 minutes to complete windshield preparation. This spreads initial silicone coating on the windshield.   Wiping action makes windshield water-repellant, so rain beads up,   and is removed by the wipers at low to moderate speeds,

Super-smooth glide eliminates annoying chattering and squeaking.

or by wind pressure at moderate to high speeds.

Then compared to the traditional wiper blade without the use of silicone blades
Other Wiper Blades
............. Normal windshield  allows rain water to collect and puddle.   So rain never beads up,...    .....   there by reducing visibility.   Noisy, chatter, vibration especially for chemical-coated windshield.

On a side note regarding my installation experience make sure you read the instructions and follow them.  Their are some specific instructions you need to follow to make the wipers a success.  Make sure you use the correct hook on installation which is shown in the instructions.  Once I figured things out the installation went quickly.
